Music is a gift.

Music is an art.

Music is my life.

Music is my solace.

Music is my religion.

Music is my greatest love.

Music is my eternal companion.

Music to me is as essential as breathing.

Music is one of the basic necessities of life.

Music is boundless energy that refreshes me.

Music fills the void I feel every waking moment.

Music is the greatest human construct and the best gift.

Music allows me to access that part of my own being which is otherwise inaccessible.

A clear representation of what music is to me.

It has shown that music has the power to heal, it is a stimulant for the mind and soul. For me, nothing can help express, reinforce and alleviate my emotions like music. When you’re feeling sad or otherwise emotional, there’s no better way to feel it than through music. Just listening to the right kind of music reflects your mood, helps you to feel your way through emotions. It helps you to feel it in your soul.

Music is the “universal language”. It helps  you to connect with the artist as well as all the human race – as you realize that we all go through similar life experiences as emotions. Many people say they cannot live without music, many people believe that music has a huge impact on development in terms of human physiology, physical, emotional and improve the quality of life.

For me, words, poetry, visual art, motivational podcasts, nothing else can match music’s ability to evoke powerful emotions. On a practical level, music adds spice to life and helps us to accomplish mundane tasks – from washing, shopping, cleaning the bathroom. How else to get some good energy going for exercise or walking than from music? Listening to music is just about the only way I can do mindless tasks. It quiets the constant chatter in my head so I can focus.
